On October 6th, 2018, Houston-based artist Patrick Renner invited the local community to contribute to his next work, Rest. Participants were invited to paint strips of wood that will be used to adorn the preprepared metal armature installed ahead of time. Rest is sponsored by J. Carter Breed Properties, and will be a permanent installation at the Altharetta Yeargin Art Museum.
Renner's most famous work is likely the Funnel Tunnel, previously installed on Houston's Montrose Blvd, then visiting New Orleans, and then Atlanta. As a Houston-based artist, the city has enjoyed much of his work, including more recent works Sentinel and Trumpet Flower located in the inner city.

Additional updates after the installation is complete.
